COURSTEY MIRROR JULY 5
ASK THE SEXPERT
DR MAHINDER WATSA
1 I am a 30-year-old man and I am not married yet. Till date, I have not been in a relationship. But when I masturbate, my penis hurts an hour after the act. What time of the day I masturbate is inconsequential as the pain is the same. On most occasions, I ejaculate within 5-7 minutes. But when having sex with my future partner, I want to last for longer so that we can have a healthy and satisfying sex life. In the last 15 days, I have also been experiencing a severe itching sensation in the upper part of my penis and its surrounding region. As a result, my foreskin has turned slightly pink. Do you think it could be balanitis? I have checked on the internet and arrived at this conclusion based on my symptoms. What can I do to solve my issues? Whom should I consult and what is the treatment?
It is very likely that you are being very harsh while masturbating, thus causing the symptom you are feeling. Apply a lubricant or your saliva and during masturbation learn to squeeze your penis before ejaculation and then resume. This stop-andstart technique will help you to increase the timing before ejaculation.
2 I am 76 years old. I have been on medication for an enlarged prostate for eight years. For the past two years, my erections have reduced. Also, when I masturbate, I don’t ejaculate. Also, I urinate after masturbation. Can you suggest a remedy?
Before any suggestion can be made, details of your general health etc must be known. Consult an andrologist who will tell you how to deal with your problems.
