$30,000 falls from a truck in US, cops ask drivers to return cash

Police in Michigan are appealing to people to surrender their instant riches after a box with $30,000 fell off the back of a truck. Authorities in Grand Haven say drivers stopped on Thursday to pick up cash for themselves. Only $2,500 was immediately recovered and returned to the owner, who had forgotten that a cash box was on the truck’s bumper. By Saturday, more money was trickling in. The department of public safety says two teenagers turned in $630, and a woman gave up nearly $3,900.


Model dies after collapsing on catwalk in Sao Paulo

A model participating in Sao Paulo’s Fashion Week has died after getting sick and falling on the catwalk. Organisers said Tales Soares took ill on Saturday while in a parade of fashion brand Ocksa. A medical team attended to him on the catwalk and Soares was later taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Daily Folha de S Paulo reported that Soares, 26, tripped on his shoelace and fell. According to the paper, people in the crowd initially thought his fall was part of a performance.

Man thrashed for shouting film spoilers outside theatre

A man in Hong Kong was reportedly “beaten up” after deciding to yell spoilers to fans waiting outside a cinema where “Avengers: Endgame” was being shown. According to Deadline, the unidentified man was shouting plot developments before fans attacked him. He was apparently left “beaten and bloodied”. A photo circulated online reportedly shows him with bloodied on the side of his head as he awaits treatment.
